NCBC Senior Minister

NCBC is a vibrant, multi-generational and ethnically diverse city-centre church with a membership of 127 and a regular Sunday attendance of around 150. Our desire is that we grow together as a Christ-centred, Spirit-led, outward-facing fellowship.

We are prayerfully seeking a Senior Minister who is called to lead us into the next season God has planned for us.

We belong to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and our Ministers will need to be accredited to the Baptist Union or willing to work towards accreditation.

We have a Portuguese speaking congregation that has been part of NCBC since 2018 and is led by a Baptist Brazilian missionary couple.

Our large church building is ten minutes’ walk from Norwich city centre. We hire rooms for community groups to use including Foodbank, child contact centre, Christian counselling and recovery groups.

Stipend will be in line with the Baptist Union recommendation commensurate with experience, and dependent on whether the Manse is required. Right to live and work in the UK is essential.

After appointing a Senior Minister we plan to advertise for an Assistant Minister who will have pastoral responsibility for children, youth and families. This approach reflects NCBC’s desire to build a healthy, sustainable leadership structure that matches the scope of the church and its vision for outreach and growth.
